Barry is a partner in Prophet’s Richmond office and brings 20 years of experience helping companies discover and implement strategy-led, creativity-fueled solutions that drive innovation, growth and transformation. His breadth of experience across business, non-profits, and higher education combines for deep, practical insight around what it takes for organizations to imagine, validate and activate change.

Barry’s expertise includes purpose/strategy integration; brand narrative, engagement and activation; innovation process and metrics; leadership alignment; and performance-based culture change.

Prior to joining the Prophet team, Barry was a financial advisor with AIG and director at the YMCA, where he played roles in growth strategy, marketing, risk management, and program operations. He started his career in higher education at The University of Maryland and later in Virginia’s Community College System in administration and high tech R&D, as well as the classroom.

Barry earned a BA in English from James Madison University and an MA in English from the University of Maryland at College Park.
