Scott is a Partner in Prophet’s design practice and is based in our San Francisco office. His work has spanned the spectrum of brand and design including new brand development, acquisition brand strategy, product positioning, co-branding, branded environments, brand licensing, naming rights and sponsorship, and all forms of brand experiences. Scott’s insight and brand guidance is unexpected and inventive. He enjoys the challenge of helping clients see problems in entirely new ways and as one part of the visually driven process to compelling solutions.
Prior to joining Prophet, Scott co-founded Forty Forty Agency in 2002, undertaking strategy and creative in traditional and digital media for clients in a variety of industries. And during his eight-year tenure at Landor Associates, he served as executive and creative director of the branded environments and retail practice. He also dedicated two years to the FedEx account, offering global brand strategic guidance for the FedEx group of companies.
Throughout the span of his career, Scott has worked with clients in various industries, including the retail, financial services, sports and entertainment, energy and consumer packaged goods sectors. Notable clients include Gap, Home Depot, Target, Wrangler, The Royal Bank of Scotland, Visa, Capital One Bank, Citizens Bank, Disney, Viacom, The NFL Players Association, MTV Networks Entertainment Group, BP, Williams Energy, Campbell’s and Coca-Cola.
Scott, who began his career as an environmental and retail designer, holds his bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly University. He serves as trustee on The Urban School of San Francisco Board and is Vice President of The League to Save Lake Tahoe.
He and his family reside in Berkeley, CA.
