Michael has over 15 years of experience in marketing strategy, innovation, and brand portfolio management. He is based in Prophet's Chicago office and is responsible for leading client engagements across a variety of industries. His most recent client engagements have included work for Abbott Laboratories, Boeing, Dupont, Carlson Hotels, GE, Kellogg's, Ortho-McNeil, and Textron.
Prior to joining Prophet, Michael was a Partner at Kuczmarski & Associates (K&A), a management consulting firm specializing in new product, service, and brand development. While at K&A, Michael gained considerable expertise in a wide variety of industries, including technology and telecommunications, healthcare, utilities, financial services, and consumer packaged goods. At K&A his clients included General Mills, NASA, NICOR, S.C. Johnson Wax, and USG Corporation.
Michael has been published in many periodicals including Industry Week and the Journal of Business Strategy and is a regular speaker at industry conferences and events on topics including brand architecture and brand portfolio management. He also speaks at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
Michael received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Master's of Management from the Kellogg School of Management.
