Niren brings over 15 years of experience in the application of advanced customer research and analytics to identify, develop, and implement brand and marketing strategies. His areas of expertise include brand positioning and equity measurement, marketing mix optimization, customer experience optimization, and customer database analytics. His experience includes work with clients such as AOL, Ameriquest, United Rentals, Brighthouse Networks, and Wells Fargo, among others. He been instrumental in driving disciplined and fact-based marketing performance improvements in global organizations, through the development and application of leading edge customer analytic techniques.
Prior to joining Prophet, Niren was Senior Vice President, Research & Measurement at Fidelity Investments where he led the research, analysis, competitor intelligence and CRM functions within National Financial, the clearing service provider business within Fidelity Investments. Before that, he was a Partner at Accenture in the Customer Insight practice within CRM. Niren has spoken on brand and marketing analytics at several conferences and has published in the Journal of Retailing and Journal of Business Strategy.
Niren received a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, an M.B.A. in Marketing from Bombay University, and a PhD in Marketing from Cornell University.
