Prophet’s Michael Dunn Named One of 2008’s Top Consultants
June 17, 2008
SAN FRANCISCO (June 10, 2008) – Prophet Chairman and CEO Michael Dunn, who for the last 10 years has led the firm’s transformation into the global consultancy of choice for brand, marketing and innovation issues, has been named one of Consulting Magazine’s Top 25 Consultants of 2008.
Dunn was selected from what the magazine said was the largest field of nominees to date, representing consulting firms of all sizes and in a wide variety of disciplines. His selection puts him – and Prophet – in good company; the 23 firms represented range from IBM to Booz & Company to Ernst & Young.
“I’m delighted, of course,” Dunn said of his inclusion. “The last 10 years have been a journey for me as well as for Prophet, and despite the occasional bump in the road, our travels have been wonderfully rewarding.”
He told Consulting Magazine, in fact, that Prophet’s ongoing growth trajectory continues, despite the U.S. economic slowdown, since the firm’s non-U.S. growth grew by 80 percent last year. He also said Prophet intends strategic acquisitions of a few small firms specializing in marketing ROI and innovation. That will allow it to provide an extremely robust suite of services to clients, who are typically division presidents with P&L responsibilities.
Headquartered in San Francisco, Prophet (www.prophet.com) is a leading global consultancy specializing in helping Fortune 500 clients and their senior executives more effectively use branding, marketing, and innovation to drive profitable growth.
