Creating a singular digital experience
The Challenge
Two of the Midwest's leading hospitals, Central Dupage Hospital and Delnor Health System, merged to create a new healthcare system – Cadence Health. Positioned to offer a unique combination of state-of-the-art treatment and patient-centered care, Cadence needed to provide a web and intranet presence commensurate with this positioning – leveraging the strengths of both brands, harmonizing two different technological platforms, and integrating with the overarching brand experience.
Our Solution
Integrating brand knowledge, key functional leader inputs, and a comprehensive survey of industry best practices, we sought to define and map the new branded patient and physician experience. We were then able to define and prioritize the digital assets that would be incorporated into an optimal portfolio of touchpoints. The strategy team then worked with our digital team to explore the requirements and elements for high priority, high impact redesign and redevelopment of the Cadence digital experience.
The Result
In order to define user cases and establish an overall structure and flow for content and information, Prophet developed a comprehensive graphical site map of the new Cadence digital experience, followed by annotated wireframes for more than 80 discrete pages of the website and intranet. Then, the new Cadence visual design system was applied to both. The end product was a harmonized digital experience that created a single branded intuitive, interactive, and informational online user experience for patients and caregivers alike.
