GE Healthcare: Transforming from within
GE Healthcare Americas (GEHC) was transforming its business to build broader and deeper relationships with large healthcare institutions facing increasingly complex challenges. GEHC was in the middle of their transformation planning and needed to not only communicate the plan but a way of truly engaging and inspiring the 200+ leadership team to embrace and execute the five-year growth strategy.
After leading a first-in-kind industry segmentation effort which surfaced key focus areas for GEHC, Prophet worked closely with the executive team to craft a “plan-to-win” which decisively articulated what the organization would focus on to drive growth. We then designed and orchestrated a 2-day summit for the entire leadership team to get immersed in the strategy and begin laying plans for effective execution. This growth summit included everything from architecting the agenda, designing, and overseeing the building of a 5,000 sq ft. exhibit to immerse leaders in the focus areas and new value propositions, securing high profile speakers, developing learning exercises, event branding, and creating an end-of-show video to be shared with the broader organization.
The plan-to-win and growth summit continue to be foundational elements of GEHC Americas growth agenda. The GEHC leadership has fully adopted the strategy and is implementing it throughout the organization. A renewed passion for the business and its mission was established as evidenced by one leader's comment about his experience at the growth summit: “this is why I joined this company”.
