Marketing magazine dubs Prophet "Big Brand Agency" for 2005

Prophet, a leading consulting firm specializing in the integration of brand, business, and marketing strategy, was named the “big brand agency” to watch in 2005 by a Marketing magazine columnist.

“This sort of recognition reflects the inroads we’ve made on a global basis with our focus on the need to bring together brand, business and marketing strategies to drive top- and bottom-line results,” said Michael Dunn, Chief Executive Officer of Prophet. “The continuing success of such multi-national clients as UBS and BP has demonstrated the effectiveness of that approach in the marketplace.”

The U.K.-based Marketing’s January 5th column by Mark Ritson, noted marketing author and researcher, entitled “Keep a Watch Out for the Return of Reputation,” describes Prophet as “already huge in the U.S. and now growing in Europe…a winning hybrid combining the rigor of a strategy consultant with specialist brand focus.”

He adds: “What I have seen of the company's work suggests that its grasp of quantitative research, marketing strategy and brand architecture will make it a big force in branding in the coming year."

Marketing magazine is the leading news magazine for the marketing community in the U.K., boasting a higher readership than any other marketing title, at around 40,000 weekly.
