Phyllis Rothschild Joins Prophet as Partner

Phyllis Rothschild, with 20 years of experience helping companies uncover innovative growth opportunities, has joined Prophet as a partner, the company announced today. She will work from Prophet’s New York office.

Prophet (www.prophet.com) is a leading global consultancy specializing in helping Fortune 500 clients and their senior marketers more effectively use brand and marketing to drive profitable growth.

Rothschild joins Prophet from Mercer Management Consulting in Boston where she held a variety of roles. Most recently, she was a director in the strategy practice, counseling large multi-national clients in a range of industries, from aerospace to retail to health care to financial services. Areas of focus have included market assessments and new market entry strategy, customer facing strategy, competitive diagnostics, and strategic planning redesign.

Her other roles at Mercer included serving as the head of its Boston office, as chief people officer for the strategy practice, and as leader of the firm’s women’s initiative. Early in her career, Phyllis put her degree and fluency in Japanese to work in Tokyo and New York, working for Mitsubishi in their corporate finance and consulting divisions.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Japanese from Stanford University and earned an MBA from The Wharton School. She resides in the Boston suburb of Carlisle.
