Nicholas Kim is an Associate Partner in Prophet’s New York office with over 15 years of experience, designing user experience capabilities into company cultures and innovation processes. He also explores novel applications of cognitive science and behavioral economics on the development of product, service and experience design.
Prior to joining Prophet, Nicholas held leadership positions with SapientNitro, frog design and IBM, supporting clients across a range of industries such as Unilever, GE, Nike, HP and Staples with customer experience and design innovation strategies across digital and physical platforms. Nicholas also co-founded a strategy consultancy focused on mobile technologies, successfully securing venture capital funding.
He has spoken at SXSW, the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting of New Champions, and the Annual Meeting at Davos, among other design and innovation panels. Nicholas also sits on the advisory council for Harvard Business Review.
He was named a Global Leadership Fellow from the World Economic Forum, where he received an executive MA from academic partners, Wharton and INSEAD. Nicholas also received an executive MBA from the University of Texas, Austin and a BA from Columbia University.
