Markus Koch


Markus is a Partner based in Zurich, Switzerland. He has comprehensive consulting experience in marketing strategy formulation - his areas of expertise are Brand Strategy, Brand Positioning and Portfolio Management, Marketing Spend Effectiveness and Innovation Management in Marketing and Sales.

As a marketing consultant, Markus served various clients to solve complex marketing and brand strategy problems. He has a wide range of international experience in developing creative and well-founded solutions to formulate brand strategies, assess and restructure brand brand portfolios and architectures, measure existing brand assets, optimize marketing spend and explore new growth opportunities. He helped leading international companies in FMCG, financial services, retail, automotive and industrial sector.

Before joining Prophet, Markus was leading the Zurich office of Vivaldi Partners, an international marketing and brand consulting firm. Prior to joining Vivaldi Partners, he worked as a marketing consultant for BBDO Consulting (now Batten & Company) and as a research assistant at the Institute of Marketing and Retailing at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland.

He holds a diploma in Business Administration and a doctorate degree, both from University of St.Gallen, Switzerland. He also published various articles in the areas of branding, communication and diversity management.
