Mike has more than 20 years of brand and marketing strategy experience combining brand strategy consulting and industry marketing management. He is based in Prophet's Chicago office and is responsible for leading major client engagements and providing thought leadership. Mike's mix of industry and consulting experience has enabled him to help clients develop and implement brand and marketing strategies that build market leadership, create a blueprint for growth/investment, and drive financial performance. He has consulted for corporations in technology, pharmaceuticals, durable goods, consumer packaged goods, financial services, and telecommunications both in the U.S. and internationally.
Prior to joining Prophet, Mike was Executive Director at Landor St. James, a brand strategy consulting firm, where he was responsible for building the Landor strategy practice and overseeing key client relationships. His prior experience also includes the Quaker Oats Company where he led marketing for the snacks business.
Mike is active in management education and training and has spoken at both corporate forums and brand and marketing conferences. He has been published in a number of periodicals and has spoken at Northwestern University and the University of Chicago.
Mike holds a B.A. from the University of Iowa and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
