Julie Purser is an Associate Partner in Prophet’s Hong Kong office. Julie has over 12 years experience leading large brand strategy and marketing projects in the US and Asia. Her experience includes brand positioning, brand architecture, corporate reputation, segmentation, growth strategy and implementation for global clients such as Cathay Pacific, SC Johnson, Samsung, Cigna, Johnson & Johnson, and Cargill. Julie has particular skills in designing and analyzing quantitative and qualitative research to understand the unique needs of consumers and positioning brands to capitalize on market opportunities.
In recent years, Julie has led a number of brand strategy projects for leading hospitality companies including Marriott and Genting and insurance and financial services clients including AIA, Zurich Financial and MetLife. Prior to joining Prophet, Julie worked for Leo Burnett Worldwide where she served in multiple roles, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic thinking skills. Julie started her career in the database marketing department as a strategy and planning analyst on the Philip Morris account and later worked as an account executive on the Allstate account, overseeing the strategy and execution of Allstate’s national advertising.
Julie received an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
