Phyllis is a Partner in Prophet’s New York office and brings nearly 15 years experience helping companies uncover innovative growth opportunities. Her breadth of experience includes assessment and development of new market entry strategies, post-merger integration and positioning, customer led strategy development and implementation, competitive diagnostics, and strategic planning redesign. She has also published several articles and commentaries on topics such as Business Model Innovation, Portfolio Management, Strategic Planning, and Globalization.
Prior to joining Prophet, Phyllis was at Mercer Management Consulting in a variety of roles. Most recently, she was a Director in the Strategy Practice where she counseled large, multi-national clients in a variety of industries including aerospace, retail, paper, oil, energy, health care, financial services, and consumer products, among others. Her additional roles at Mercer included serving as Head of the Boston Office, Chief People Officer for the Strategy Practice, and a Leader of the Women’s Initiative. Early in her career, Phyllis leveraged her degree in Japanese and worked in both Tokyo and New York for Mitsubishi in their corporate finance and consulting division.
Phyllis earned her BA in International Relations and Japanese from Stanford University, and her MBA from The Wharton School.
