Andrew is a senior director of verbal branding at Prophet, where he has been since August 2021.

Prior to joining Prophet, Andrew was a Director of Verbal Identity at Interbrand New York, where he played a lead role in guiding the verbal strategy for brands like Microsoft, Thomson Reuters, and London Stock Exchange Group.

Spending the majority of his career in his homeland Australia, he has more than 15 years of experience in brand language strategy, development and execution – from positioning and purpose to messaging and voice, to naming and copywriting.

Before coming to New York, Andrew ran his own Verbal Identity consultancy for five years. And before that was Creative Director at Australasia’s largest independent branding agency, Principals – where he led a team giving voice to some of Australia’s largest brands, including Optus, NRMA and National Australia Bank.

Originally from an advertising background – with a BA in Communications (Advertising) from Charles Sturt University – he is still passionate about great ideas, and crafting language to create real connections with customers, and real impact for brands.
