Bill Margaritis

Bill, an expert in global reputation, brand management and culture, is a senior strategic advisor at Prophet, focused on working with clients on integrated marketing communications, culture and engagement, corporate transformation and social responsibility.

He started developing his expertise in change management at age 8, when he emigrated to the U.S. from Greece and he’s never stopped. While a senior vice president at FedEx, he helped it grow from an air express carrier to a full-service global logistics and e-commerce powerhouse, building highly effective culture and employee engagement initiatives and rebranding strategies to support that transformation. In addition to strategic posts at Bechtel and Hilton, he also has broad government affairs experience, including Occidental Petroleum. And he served as a special assistant in the U.S. Secretary of Commerce’s Office under President Ronald Reagan.

Bill has also co-launched several entrepreneurial ventures in the hotel, mining recycling and aviation sectors.

Bill earned his business degree from Michigan State University. He lives in Fort Worth, Texas, where he makes plenty of time for some of his passions–family, golf and grilling.
