Ed Rhoads is a partner in Prophet’s New York office. Ed is a marketing strategy expert and has more than 20 years of experience leading brand growth and innovation, and improving customer and patient experience for Fortune 500 healthcare and consumer brands.

Before joining Prophet, Ed was a managing partner and principal at The New England Consulting Group where he led the healthcare, innovation and collective intelligence practices. Prior to that role, he held senior positions at Lumenogic, Galen Partners, Catalina Marketing and The Wilkerson Group. Ed’s broad skillset includes experience with high-impact growth strategies, operations guidance, optimizing intelligence technology and processes and strategic management consulting. He is co-inventor on two patents; US Patent 7309001, a technology for targeted communications based on a patient’s anonymous prescription purchase history, and US Patent 86595220, a hand-held food cutter with shape imparting device.

Ed has served on the Board of Directors for Essential Group, Inc. and National Children’s Alliance, and was a Board Observer for InTouch Health, Aperio Technologies and Advanced Pharmacy Services. Ed has been published in The New York Times and Bloomberg Business Week.

Ed holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BSME in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
