Jill Steele

Jill is a Senior Vice President of Strategy and ESG based in Prophet’s San Francisco office. She is responsible for leading long-term strategy for Prophet as well as leading the firm’s internal and external ESG efforts. She believes that business can play a key role in solving some of society’s greatest challenges and brings insight, empathy, optimism, and curiosity to helping clients unlock this opportunity. Jill also serves as the Board Chair for the Contra Costa and Solano County Food Bank where she’s focused on fighting food insecurity in her community.

She’s held management and training positions at Prophet, where she started as a brand strategy consultant. She’s also worked in a variety of marketing roles at Nissan Motor Corporation and Time, Inc.

Jill stays sane by following her passion for food, hiking, and travel, taking her three kids to more than twenty countries, seeing the beauty that this world has to offer. This compels her to focus even more on building a sustainable and regenerative future for all.

She earned her BS in International Business and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University, and completed the Harvard Business School Sustainable Business Strategy Certificate.
