Melissa is Prophet’s director of corporate strategy and operations. Based in the New York office, she develops and runs growth initiatives to build the company and its people.

She’s passionate about strategy and human behavior, finding development opportunities by driving new business initiatives, developing and executing priority initiatives and improving change management and operational effectiveness. Her motto? "Better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation." Before joining Prophet, she was a senior associate at (r)evolution, a boutique firm, consulting on a top auto and travel club. She also ran marketing and communications at Vocalocity, a leading provider of Internet telephone services, and BKV, an Atlanta-based marketing agency.

She earned her degree in psychology from Emory University, where she wrote an honors thesis on the workplace behavior of millennials. She lives in Brooklyn and spends her free time running and traveling.
