Paul is a Partner in Prophet’s Healthcare Practice, and part of its North American Leadership Team. He believes that everything comes down to deep human empathy and behavior change. Whether it is about customers, employees or leadership, different business outcomes require behavior change. From rich ethnography to sophisticated modeling, Paul brings his experience in research, analytics and strategy to sew together growth agendas that link a strong appreciation of people -with individual perceptions, feelings and motivations- to quantifiable business impact.
Paul has worked with the majority of the world’s largest healthcare companies such as CVS Health, Cardinal Health, AbbVie, Elevance Health, Bristol-Myers Squibb, CommonSpirit, MD Anderson, Baxter and Cerner. As well as some of the fastest-growing ones like Exact Sciences, Carbon Health, Datavant and CareDx.
Outside of Prophet, Paul advises early-stage startups at ScaleHealth, a global collection of healthcare startup hubs. He serves as chair of The Water Trust, a health and hygiene NGO that serves rural east African communities. And is the host of Microdosing; a short, serious, and sometimes snarky podcast on the business of healthcare. Paul has a bachelor's degree from Loyola University of Chicago, and master's degree is from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. If you want to get him talking, ask him about his upcoming travel plans.
