Ramya is an engagement manager in Prophet’s New York office. Ramya is a classically trained brand marketer with over 10 years of experience in global brand strategy and marketing for some of the world’s most successful and innovative CPG and pharmaceutical companies. She brings a breadth of marketing and branding expertise, having worked extensively in consumer insights, brand management, and strategy consulting both in the US and the UK.

Prior to joining Prophet, Ramya worked in the UK for ACNielsen BASES, advising clients such as Kraft, Campbell’s and GSK on global innovation strategy. Subsequently, she brought her unique blend of strategic, analytical and creative skills to drive growth on the client-side at GlaxoSmithKline and Burt’s Bees (Clorox), before returning to consulting.
Ramya leverages her CPG background at Prophet to help healthcare brands become more consumer-centric. She is a core member of Prophet’s healthcare vertical, with a particular interest in the provider and life sciences sectors.

Ramya holds a BA from Brown University, an Msc with Merit from the London School of Economics and later earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where she graduated with Dean’s List Honors.
