Susan is an associate partner in Prophet's San Francisco office, focusing on experience strategy, product and service design.
She believes a growth mindset – for people and enterprises – happens by stepping just beyond our depth. Her favorite ch-ch-change advice comes from David Bowie: "When you don't feel your feet are quite touching the bottom, you're just about in the right place to do something exciting."
Based on the conviction that technology can only change the world when it's human-centric, she has led high-performing innovation teams in fields as diverse as children's toys, surgical robots and jet engines. Before joining Prophet, Susan oversaw the ADAPT experience design team at Bain & Co. She's also worked on product design for General Electric, Hot Studio and Lunar.
Susan earned an MBA from Berkeley Haas and a master's degree in learning, design and technology from Stanford University, where she was a founding fellow at the d.school. Her undergraduate degree, from San Francisco State University, is in cinema studies.
A Bay Area native, she loves Big Sur, Tahoe and wine country. She's also seen “Hamilton" nine times and is always looking for a great cup of coffee.
