Throughout his career, Tobias’ work has focused on the intersection of business strategy and marketing, rethinking or improving go-to-market approaches to drive organic growth and deliver measurable results for his clients. He brings a strategic yet action-oriented point of view, as well as the knowledge to create momentum and engage key stakeholders in all kinds of organisations.
Tobias’ experience spans across industries including financial services, consumer goods and services. That said, one of his passions and a significant part of his work focuses on industrial and engineering driven businesses - both B2B and B2C – transforming them into tech and digitally-driven organisations. He works with his clients to rethink their go-to-market approach along the dimensions of digital transformation and customer centricity. Tobias’ recent work includes:
• Creating a fact base, plan and concrete concepts to drive the transformation of an industrial, engineering-centred organisation to become a consumer experience organisation with a digital-first marketing approach
• Developing and launching A program for a new industrial B2B product line including marketing, sales and training concepts
• Leading top management discussions to establish a purpose and values-driven approach in a large B2B player, which was then fully implemented worldwide
Tobias has worked at Prophet since 2007. Prior to this he was employed at Consart Management Consultants where he focused on the financial services sector. Earlier in his career and prior to gaining his Masters degree, he worked as a business development manager at both debitel AG and Swisscom Group, where he explored new potential revenue streams and digital business opportunities.
Tobias holds a Masters degree from the SDA Bocconi business school in Milan and is an undergraduate from ESB Reutlingen with a double degree in the English/ German International Management link.
