Wolfgang is a former partner at Prophet’s Berlin office. He is a specialist in identifying and activating strategic growth opportunities. Leveraging his 20 years of experience, Wolfgang supports clients from different industries in capturing profitable growth, especially by helping innovate their business model, sharpen their value proposition, re-segment their customer base, adjust their product portfolio and/or optimize their sales force. He combines in-depth analytics and strategic thinking with a pragmatic “making it happen” attitude, ensuring that client solutions are feasible and see the light of day.

Wolfgang started his career in management consulting before taking on leadership roles focused on strategy, marketing and business development within various financial services companies across Europe. Before joining Prophet, Wolfgang was Head of Business Development for Credit Suisse in Zurich, responsible for transforming both value proposition and business model in selected countries of the International Wealth Management Division. Earlier in his career Wolfgang was the Head of Strategy for Commerzbank´s retail credit division and the Head of Sales Co-operations at Dresdner Bank in Frankfurt. There he successfully built and managed a portfolio of co-branded products, designed for fostering client acquisition beyond established distribution channels.

Wolfgang holds a “Diplom Kaufmann” (German business degree) from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany and a Post-Master degree from University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, Austria.
