The Role

We are searching for a seasoned consultant to join our fast-growing digital transformation team.

Managers on our global digital team are responsible for playing a key advisory and strategic partnership role. They direct client engagements and deepen relationships over time with existing clients. Our managers are also front-line advisors on digital topics to our partner team, providing digital expertise and unlocking areas of strategic growth to help expand our digital business. This individual will be instrumental in helping to build the practice, grow our digital offering inside Prophet, and provide leadership to global teams and junior consultants.

Digital Responsibilities and Experience

  • Lead digital projects, or digital-heavy work streams on larger engagements, beginning with high-level opportunity identification through to product concepting and experience definition, launch and go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborate with and lead multi-disciplinary teams to develop hypotheses around digital
  • Conduct and manage research and analysis and formulate insightful, actionable recommendations for clients
  • Drive a problem-solving process with a broader team of digital and non-digital consultants using analytical and creative techniques to achieve compelling results
  • Identify and close new digital business leads. Serve as an active participant in digital business development efforts, both within existing clients and for new client opportunities
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of senior level client relationships; represent Prophet, our digital POV and act as a voice of our digital practice
  • Contribute to key initiatives within the digital practice including IP development, marketing, training and ongoing education for the practice and the extended partner team

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Manage Prophet teams to develop hypothesis, conduct and manage research and analysis, and formulate insightful and actionable recommendations for clients
  • Monitor project scope and profitability
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients
  • Manage, coach and teach junior consultants about digital strategy and how it can influence business and brand outcomes
  • Actively participate in business development pitches and presentations

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with digital topics (i.e. digital transformation, digital marketing, digital CX strategy, content strategy, etc.), either in strategy consulting or on the consulting side of a digital/ brand agency
  • A natural and active curiosity around new technology and digital business models as disruptive forces, in particular the ways it can transform customer experiences, behavior and implications for industries, markets and business results
  • High energy, with a passion for digital disruption
  • Demonstrated comfort switching between analytical, creative and executional thinking
  • Experience with hands-on team management and driving success
  • Significant experience being hte day-to-day leader facing senior clients, as well as the senior consulting team
  • Excellent senior executive communication skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and ask the tough questions
  • Selling and closing significantly-sized digital consulting/advisory project work
  • Able to stretch from pragmatic digital POVs to out-of-the-box thinking
  • Fluency with customer journey maps – can understand and document customer journeys, consumer behavior (including engagement with digital channels)
  • A basic understanding of the core digital technologies that underpin world-class customer experiences (CRM, e-commerce, content management)
  • Exceptional interpersonal, team-building and communication skills
  • Ability to lead small teams and own deliverables
  • Outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity and passion
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Outstanding academics (ideally an advanced degree in business from a top-tier program)
  • Native fluency in English or Mandarin/Putonghua across spoken, written, reading required; fluency in both is highly preferred for this role
