The Manager, Go to Market Strategy is responsible for running day-to-day projects, leading problem solving, guiding clients, and managing teams.
Responsibilities
While every day will be different, you can expect to…
- Lead and drive innovative and high-quality Go to Market, Demand Generation, and Account Based Marketing solutions for clients
- Leverage expertise and tools around product, solution, and portfolio marketing with emphasis in Demand Generation and ABM strategy to lead teams in the problem-solving approach
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary professionals (e.g., designers, digital strategists, architects, and researchers) to develop integrated marketing campaign strategy recommendations for clients across earned, owned, and paid channels
- Actively lead and participate in problem-solving sessions across a range of topics (brand, digital, growth, marketing, organization & change), relying on both analytical and creative techniques to get to compelling results
- Manage day-to-day aspects of senior level client relationships as a strong representative of Prophet
- Manage Prophet teams to drive superior results and bold, insightful recommendations
- Ensure great work is delivered, while monitoring project scope and profitability
- Present ideas and recommendations to senior executives
- Develop relationships with c-level clients and with thought leaders at the firm
- Identify and support new business leads
- Take on a firm leadership role – mentoring more junior staff to develop high performing consultants, advancing IP development efforts, and taking on other roles of interest (marketing, recruiting, etc.) to drive Prophet’s growth
Requirements
- 5-8 years in an agency, management consulting, digital marketing, or other relevant services firm
- Experience in successful database marketing and paid campaign strategy for B2B and B2C clients
- Experience in field marketing enablement and coordination
- Experience in developing and leveraging repeatable methodology to assess and solve client challenge
- Understanding of demand generation, lead management, and ABM process best practices
- Experience developing integrated marketing plans including marketplace understanding, audience insights, marketing channels, and priorities
- Ability to define marketing success metrics
- Experience working across brand campaigns and always-on demand generation
- Demonstrated experience running multi-disciplinary teams and working with execution agency partners
- Understanding of marketing enablers including sales technology, customer data platforms, CRM, Configure to Quote, marketing automation and advertising technology
- Understanding of sales and marketing operations
