People Engagement Manager

The Role

The people engagement manager will help design and activate strategies to engage, align and inspire employees with programming that aligns with the company’s vision, EVP and business strategy. This role, which reports to the VP of talent development and SVP of people, is responsible for designing and executing the internal engagement/quarterly pulse surveys, along with action planning and goal setting, ensuring the leadership team has access to insights that inform positive change.

This position partners closely with the Integration Team and other people of the People Team to shape and deliver culture, engagement and related internal communications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute the global quarterly pulse survey and monitor onboarding and offboarding (lifecycle) surveys
  • Analyze and interpret data to uncover insights to help understand employee engagement, understand the health of employee culture and uncover opportunities for improvement of employee experience
  • Formulate actionable data-driven recommendations tailored to different cohort needs and linked to our values
  • Lead development, implementation and assessment of engagement strategies and programs to continuously improve engagement among our employees
  • Apply various tactics to boost employee retention across all company levels and implement procedures to measure results
  • Research industry best practices, design and steward the development, implementation and ongoing ownership of people recognition initiatives that are valued across the organization at all levels
  • Support the People Team and DEI Team to help foster a company climate that respects and values diversity, inclusion and belonging among employees to build engagement and community and enrich Prophet’s culture
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for the Executive Committee and Prophet’s Board of Directors on the effectiveness of employee engagement programs and culture initiatives
  • Lead analysis for talent assessment and potential
  • Create scalable systems for dashboard reporting of employee data – pulse, talent assessment, potential, on-boarding/off-boarding
  • Build strong internal networks and drive change management, communication and leadership of C&E initiatives
  • Provide counsel, guidance and tools to managers and senior leadership as to best practices in communicating with teams to elevate engagement, productivity, performance and satisfaction

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in employee engagement or talent development data analytics role
  • Experience in employee survey design and execution
  • Previous experience within People/HR functions (a plus if prior experience in a professional services firm)
  • Ability to conduct analyses, draw out insights and present solutions with recommended actions to
  • internal stakeholders
  • Proven leadership, independence of thought/action, and the ability to analyze complex problems from
  • multiple perspectives
  • Demonstrated success in designing and activating large scale employee initiatives
  • Strong interest and experience in employee engagement, culture and people issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Builds trusted relationships with ease
  • Excellent task management skills with the ability to work under pressure, manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines, able to multi-task effectively, and able to determine priority tasks in a fast-moving, changing environment
  • Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work across time zones to support talent across regions (i.e. North America, Europe and Asia)
  • Innovative, quickly grasps new ideas and concepts, shows flexibility, adaptability and ability to build consensus
  • Highly motivated team player who can work both independently and collaboratively within a team with an all-in approach
  • Advanced expertise in PowerPoint, Qualtrics, Excel and Power BI
  • Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, One Note, Zoom, Teams, Monday.com
  • Ability to adhere to the highest process standards and maintain confidentiality
