The Role

The Talent Operations / Resourcing Senior Associate serves as a critical driver of strategic staffing solutions to ensure consulting projects, accounts, and business development pursuits are well equipped with the best and most appropriate teams. He/she will collaborate with a network of Partners and Managers to build creative solutions that meet the demands of the business, maximize the talent of our people, and optimize the deployment of resources. This person will also be responsible for developing external talent sourcing options and evaluating/managing freelance resources.

Responsibilities

While every day will be different, you can expect to…

  • Build Staffing Solutions: Work with partners, managers, coaches, and consultants to build effective interdisciplinary teams that meet the needs of clients and bring together the right mix of skills and expertise
  • Identify Optimal Talent: Develop in-depth understanding of talent base’s skill sets, strengths and areas of expertise, and how talent mix aligns to client demand. Build a qualified network of trusted contractors to supplement in-house staff
  • Optimize Project Economics: Ensure that resources are optimally and efficiently deployed, understand financial implications of delivery models, and set up teams that are well-positioned to deliver high quality work on-time and on-budget
  • Gather timely intelligence regarding consultant activities including current engagements, internal initiatives, business development, progress against individual development plans
  • Build and maintain a network of qualified contractors involving sourcing and vetting of talent, negotiation of rates, maintenance of relationships over longer-term and identifying strategic partnerships for access to larger-scale talent pools
  • Maintain all resource reporting including SOW review, utilization, employee allocations on a weekly basis

Requirements

  • Experience working in a professional services firm, ideally in a staffing or talent function
  • Experience working across a diverse talent base with wide range of skills and capabilities, specific experience with Marketing, Digital, and Experience talent a plus
  • Experience sourcing, qualifying and managing external contractors/vendors in the marketing, digital, and consulting space
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen; comfortable working in Excel
  • 3-5 years of work experience
  • Undergraduate degree; other professional degrees or certifications are a plus
