The Role

The senior associate, sales enablement role is critical for the Asia region, responsible for driving awareness and consideration across the business, and in contributing to rapid net new sales volume growth. This person will work closely with regional leadership and vertical team leads and the global marketing team to deliver an effective commercial strategy. This role will either work out of Prophet’s Hong Kong office or Shanghai office.


The development and management of core prospecting lists to identify key decision makers and purchasers across priority sub-regions and verticals

  • Partner with regional commercial leadership to activate plans for driving high-value opportunities into the sales funnel
  • Partner with practice leads to inform content and activate supporting commercial activity to drive interest, awareness and consideration for the firm
  • Define list of target prospects across verticals and develop account penetration plans, including key contacts and potential value propositions
  • Initiate outreach to target prospects with the goal of setting up introductory meetings
  • Activate marketing generated contacts (unowned engaged clickers)
  • Identify and attend target conferences and networking events to build Prophet’s reputation and generate leads
  • Develop a robust net new prospecting database for the region
  • Regularly update regional leadership on activities, learnings, market trends and results

Support strategies to maximize the commercial value of partner networks, and ensuring leadership is informed of regional insights, performance and trends

  • Support development of new business strategy to support regional commercial priorities and growth objectives
  • Compile and regularly report on regional net new BD performance and trends, including insights for driving performance
  • Regularly monitor and keep leadership informed on competitive and market trends

Work with practice leads to inform content and activate supporting demand-generation activities to drive interest, awareness and consideration in the firm

  • Develop and execute content driven lead generation campaigns
  • Coordinate alignment between Asia marketing and business development activities
  • Drive analysis of performance and recommendations for improvement

Build expertise in our CRM program

  • As the local expert, provide ongoing training and local support to users in region
  • Execute and track programs through Prophet’s marketing automation and CRM platforms


The preferred candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant sales support and CRM experience, ideally in a B2B services & solutions environment. He/she must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Fluent spoken and written Mandarin is a must
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic and tactical abilities while supporting the Asia leadership team
  • Understanding of the Asian (and particularly the Chinese) market and the nuances of what works and does not work
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with cross-office teams
  • Flexible working attitude as, on regular occasions, there will be challenging deadlines
  • The ability to use data to accurately measure the effectiveness of sales programs and processes
  • The ability to quickly deal with knock backs and rejections, and then get straight back on to the next prospect
  • Strong communication skills necessary to work with Asia leadership team and Prophet’s global Marketing and BD team
