The Role

Springbox seeks a dynamic, collaborative Digital Marketing Analyst to join our Austin office. The Analyst will evaluate clients’ digital presence and audiences using various forms of behavioral based data to inform the design of marketing and technology solutions that help push our clients’ businesses forward. They will also analyze the success of the solutions we put in market with ongoing reporting and suggest optimization opportunities to both content and experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Strategists and Planners to build custom research designs to uncover digital opportunities for our clients, both at the individual and cross channel level (web, search, social, mobile, etc.)
  • Autonomously gather data and analyze using various approaches and statistical methods (e.g., multivariate regressions) to inform answers to the defined hypotheses
  • Consider both first, second, and third-party data sources as well as primary research (IDIs, surveys) to round out a holistic perspective of customer behavior
  • Present findings in a synthesized manner with highly organized data to back-up your findings
  • Build measurement plans that define clear goals and KPIs for both marketing (e.g., campaign, media test) and technology (e.g., web or app) initiatives
  • Participate in client meetings to assess existing data, research and applications
  • Partner with Media and Content Planners to develop test plans then measure outcomes from executed tests, along with recommendations for improvement
  • Management of external data and research vendors for specific project work
  • Contribute to innovation at the firm, including proprietary data analysis methods to inform client recommendations and documentation of defined methods to assist with scaling across the firm
  • Support the business development function with market and lead level analysis to assist with prioritization of outreach
  • Keep up-to-date on marketing best practices and trends affecting the analytics and digital marketing space

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics focused role
  • Exceptional organization and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of modern marketing frameworks (e.g., content marketing) and theories (e.g., behavioral economics)
  • Passion for data and finding unique truths hidden in the sea of numbers
  • Thirst for continual learning and advancement of the analytics function
  • Knowledge of baseline programming languages (Python, R) to gather and evaluate data
  • Collection of web data, experience with data mining and web scraping
  • Strong logical thinking skills. Ability to think creatively in order to envision relationships between data
  • Highly resourceful to find the lead insights from diverse and robust data sources including search, social, web data
  • Comfort with setting up, performing and evaluating output from primary, secondary, and behavioral research methods
  • Familiarity with metrics to develop test plans, establish benchmarks and measure performance in digital channels
  • Familiarity with standard Martech ecosystems (CRM, automation, cross platform integration)

Technical Requirements

  • Experience using cross digital analytics platforms including web (Google/Adobe Analytics), social conversation, search (e.g., Moz, SEMRush)
  • Familiarity with standard Martech ecosystems (CRM, automation, cross platform integration)
  • Interest and some knowledge of design thinking and experience design principles
  • Multi-channel campaign reporting experience in 3rd party Data Visualization platforms (Datorama, Tableau, Google Data Studio)
  • Working Knowledge of Javascript
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data management
  • Knowledge of baseline programming languages (Python, R) to gather and evaluate data
  • Interest and some knowledge of design thinking and experience design principles
  • Masters in an analytics related degree preferred
