NEW YORK, November 29, 2018 – Global consultancy Prophet announced the hiring of Shari Reichenberg as a partner in the New York office. Reichenberg brings more than 15 years of experience driving growth for blue chip and emerging brands for marketing agencies and marketing consultancies.

Reichenberg joins from Ogilvy USA, where she led digitally focused acquisition, retention, communications planning and customer experience planning efforts as Head of the Customer Engagement and Commerce Capability, a team of more than 45 people. Prior to Ogilvy, she was a strategy consultant at Bain & Company and a client leader at a global public relations firm.

“Shari is a digitally savvy marketing leader who will be a valuable addition to our leadership team,” said Chiaki Nishino, North America Regional Lead at Prophet. “She has driven top-line growth through innovative and transformational work for clients across many industries and brings extensive experience in leveraging a mix of data, creativity and technology to companies as they evolve within the current disruption.”

“I’m excited to join Prophet, as I was drawn to the company’s nimble approach to blending insights, creativity and strategy in an era in which it’s crucial to help clients find creative ways to drive growth,” Reichenberg said. “Prophet has assembled a strong group of thinkers, makers and doers who come together to fill one of the most important gaps that many companies face – the gap between strategy and execution – and I’m excited to join the team.”

At Ogilvy, Reichenberg was known as a talent leader in addition to being a strategic and operational lead. In 2017, she was a New York Women in Communications honoree, a designation for communications leaders who make significant contributions to their company and industry – and are admired by peers and employees.

Reichenberg holds an MBA from Columbia University and graduated from George Washington University with a marketing major.
